About GSwanson ADHD Coach & Life Coach

As a certified professional life coach
I love helping people learn about themselves and the influence of their challenges on their life choices. Even more, I love supporting people as they create and evaluate their plans and actually achieve the goals they set for themselves. I understand the power of coaching in my own life. I am passionate about offering the same support and guidance to others.
I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and offer life coaching for women with ADHD, women 40 and older who are choosing how they want to live this powerful portion of life. I enjoy working with people whose lives are in transition and/or are facing life challenges, and who are ready to change themselves and stop blaming their condition. People who feel they are ready to design a life they love living.

As a coach
Germaine empowers women who are living with ADHD themselves or in their family. Germaine is a former special needs teacher, a certified professional coach, a woman who has ADHD, and a mother who has raised four children. Three have special needs, two of them have ADHD.
In addition to her coaching certifications, she has an M.A. in Special Education from Columbia University Teachers College. Her post-graduate training includes leading and facilitating parent education groups from Wheelock College and Educational Leadership from Boston College.
She taught elementary and school students for over a decade. She taught multi-impaired/visually impaired children in a Boston public school classroom for over five years. Later, she worked in the City of Lynn as a Family Partner/Family Support and Trainer, helping families with special needs children to navigate the various support systems, child development, and positive parenting skills. In that role, she empowered parents to use their "voice and choice" when working with various service providers. As a coach, she empowers women to access their “voice and choice” as they navigate their world.
